Climb Max

" I wanted a bike that would pedal well, climb well and yet be able to descend and do the jumps and drop offs that I'm riding more and more. Ethos lets me do all that, it's unbelievably efficient pedalling, but I'm also able to get bigger air than I ever have before."

[ FR [FReE-RADICAL] - Freeride ]

6+" (shock dependent) of rear wheel travel

Be warned. This bike is addictive and stands to redefine freeriding! The addiction begins with 6+"* of sublime rear suspension with no 'bob' or biopacing. In other words - a long travel frame that pedals better than renowned 4" travel bikes!

But don't just take our word for it. Here's what the magazines are saying about our bikes. When reviewing an Ethos FR, Freewheel Magazine recently wrote "On the topic of the Ethos' rear suspension operation, my greatest praise goes to the way it worked on the climbs - just keep seated and it's easy to forget your carting a near 7” travel bike up a hill".

Australian Mountain Bike stated, "It's rather mind blowing actually, other manufacturers claim to have minimal bob, but the Ethos does not bob, full stop!"

Most manufacture's deliberately choose to limit their all mountain freeride frames to 5" of rear wheel travel because they know with any more rear travel than this the reviewers will heavily criticise them - judging their suspension to 'bob' up and down too much when pedalling. This robs riders of precious energy and forward momentum. Not much fun for a 2 hour blast in the hills let alone a full day's epic ride!

We've designed this bike for real world freeriding - our 'all mountain enduro steed'! This is not a heavy slack angled DH rig with a triple chain ring forcing you to muscle the bike up the hills while your mates wait for you. With 6+"* of rear wheel travel our FR series is happy to efficiently charge up the mountain and soak up the big hits down to that glorious single track. Hard to believe for a 6+" travel all mountain bike. One ride and you too will be addicted!
